Provision of Cargo Staff and Forklift Operators for Ground Team Red Sdn Bhd (GTR) for Cargo Operations from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2028 (with an Option for 2 more years) at the Cargo Terminal KLIA

Ground Team Red Sdn Bhd (GTR) hereby invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the provision of cargo handling services. The scope of work encompasses duties to be performed by two key roles: 

1. Cargo Staff: The primary responsibilities will include the handling of cargo build-up and breakdown (for both palletised and loose cargo), the preparation and securing of pallets (via wrapping, netting, and strapping), conducting precise cargo counts, and performing all associated tasks within the cargo warehouse environment.

2. Forklift Operators: The key responsibility will be the safe and efficient movement of shipments within the warehouse facility and to/from the truck docking area.

They must communicate effectively with ramp teams and GTR staff to ensure smooth handovers and resolve any baggage issues. Additionally, they must be able to understand and differentiate the various 2-letter / 3-letter codes to carry out the appropriate handling requirements. They are also required to work on shifts. The full specifications/requirements will be available upon request.

The contract will provide sufficient resources for the service as assigned by GTR in accordance with the specifications/ requirements.
